Anathema: A Bizarro Anthology

1. a person or thing detested or loathed: That subject is anathema to him.
2. a person or thing accursed or consigned to damnation or destruction.

The forbidden is the essence of bizarro fiction. It’s the transgressive, the excessive, and the tasteless aspects of genre fiction that stick in your mind long after you’ve stopped reading. Its also the zany, off the wall, and extremely entertaining aspects that make these stories so damn fun to read. What we want is the best stories that combine all these qualities together. Fun, sickening, transgressive stories that explore the most bizarre corners of every genre with malicious glee and keen wit. Make us laugh. Make us cringe. Twist our stomachs and blow our minds.
